Davidson College's applicants for regular admission can see the decisions starting at 9 p.m. (EDT) tonight through their secure online portal.
The largest number of aspiring Wildcats in Davidson's history–5,700–applied this year, and the decisions released tonight move the class of 2022 an enormous step closer to a final roster and the start of classes in the fall.
"These students have reached amazing accomplishments in and outside of their classrooms," said Chris Gruber, vice president and dean of admission and financial aid. "They impressively articulate who they are and what they want to become, and why Davidson is the right place for them. We have already assembled a portion of this talented class through our early decision programs. Now we will watch the group grow, strengthen our community and make an impact on this campus and beyond over the next four years."
Admitted students and their families should visit campus between now and the end of April, plan an overnight stay, sit in on classes and meet with faculty members.
Davidson, located 20 miles north of Charlotte, North Carolina, proudly practices need-blind admission and meets 100 percent of a student's/family's demonstrated need with grants and student employment.
