"Colonization, Emigration, and Black Internationalist Women, 1831-1895" by Prof. Nneka Dennie

Consortium for Faculty Diversity Postdoctoral Fellow Prof. Nneka D. Dennie is a black feminist scholar specializing in 19th- and 20th-century African American history. Her talk will explore how women such as Ida B. Wells and Frances Harper debated whether African Americans should leave the United States in their struggle for rights and freedom.
